-Mad Library are to play one off gig!
Yes yes, dear dear - on Monday December 20th, Mad Library will be playing a one off gig for Lone Shark's Xmas Party, our first since September and last til... well we dont know when.
Will be an ace night with some very cool bands - more details on gigs page!
-Mad Library recently joined up with Easily Amused Productions to make a video for Sounds Like Time.
The track was re-recorded for the project, and now has a rather superb visual counterpart, we hope you'll agree.
The artily watchable video will soon be available from this very website for free download

The last few gigs we've done have all been muchly enjoyable, and the sets have been pretty varied - including guest appearances (MC Dom Coyote/ Richard Bridge - didjeridu), new songs and some cool improvisations - big thanks to anyone who came to them!
Sad news though - our last gig for a while will be on Monday September 13th at Exeter Cavern!
Just to reiterate, we're NOT splitting - we'll just be around less often for the coming months for various reasons, but we should re-surface now and again for the odd one-off gig, and will hopefully get some kind of new material on CD fairly soon!
But yes, we're playing a Lone Shark show on Monday alongside >resonate<, Ampersand and Nixon & The Burn who are all jolly good - and it's only £3 to get in, so come along for a fun evening and the last of Mad Library's Summer Wine.
July 2004 Exciting news folks - Mad Library will be doing a few gigs with MC Dom Coyote towards the end of August!
For those of you who didnt catch our shows with him at Easter, Dom Coyote is an incredibly talented hiphop MC/ poet/ singer - and he's mightily captivating onstage, even we couldnt take our eyes off him last time!

After our most busy, productive and fun few months, Mad Library's gonna gonna see some changes after Summer!
Basically, the situation is this; Lewis will be moving away(not just to go to uni anymore) and Dan is unable to remain a full-time 'Library member.
We'll no doubt be doing stuff together in future, dont know any further details at the moment but it's bound to be good! ;)
So yeah... looks like the last show for a while for Mad Library as you know it will be Monday September 13th at Exeter Cavern Club for a Lone Shark show.
Hold back those tears though - we're doing quite a few gigs throughout August and you can expect new songs, crazy collaborations and booty-shakin' action aplenty. Check out the 'upcoming' gigs section!
